William was born in Liberty, New York to parents who were professional musicians. He is a member of Actors' Equity and joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators in 2016. His unpublished books include Party Animal, Meet Lincoln and Loo Loo and The Penguin Who Wanted to Fly.
